CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS
At ECS, we have a dedicated focus on early childhood education, recognizing the profound impact that well-designed spaces can have on a child’s growth and development. While we specialize in outfitting pre-K classrooms, we also bring our expertise to a broad spectrum of child development centers, catering to the needs of children from newborns to elementary school-aged kids. Our approach is centered around creating vibrant, functional, and safe environments that encourage exploration, learning, and socialization. From age-appropriate furniture and educational tools to stimulating play areas, ECS ensures that every space we design supports both developmental milestones and the well-being of young learners. By blending creativity with practicality, we help lay the foundation for a positive, enriching educational experience.
Spotlight: Ft. Wainwright child development center
In February of 2024, ECS provided all of the furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the Army’s newest Child Development Center at Ft. Wainwright, AK. The furniture provided included a broad age and experience spectrum from newborns to elementary-school aged children. The extensive logistics plan ensured that the furniture arrived with minimal damage and on time for the scheduled grand opening with all of the spaces protected in the process. This was done in February which provided unique challenges due to the extreme cold in Fairbanks. To properly execute our plan, we included with personnel from the lower 48 as well as local workers to accomplish the best outcome and overall continuity for the customer. This installation provided unique challenges due to the extreme weather, the distance from the continental US combined with the remote nature of that post.
