Our story

How we started

In 2012, Paul and Katie Bricker founded ECS, after Paul retired from serving in the US Army for more than 28 years. In their military experience, they saw the need for contractors to come and support bases to procure furniture and educational equipment to ensure that military kids were sufficiently resourced for success. While Paul led soldiers in peace and war, Katie developed a close-knit family network wherever they served. Together, they saw many areas where competent contractors could make living in the military more excellent, more comfortable, and better for learning and growing. Passionate about helping military families, Paul and Katie got to work and created ECS. Paul, Katie, and the ECS team have worked tirelessly for over a decade serving the military and their families by supporting the Department of Defense in the areas of science, furniture, early education and physical education. Serving the military and their families is a privilege that ECS is honored to fulfill.

ECS has successfully completed furniture projects In the US and around the world over the past decade. ECS goes to hard places like Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, and Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. What sets ECS apart is our dedication to customer service and the customer experience. ECS ensures that our installation projects include an on-site project manager to ensure quality and customer satisfaction throughout the installation. As a result, ECS knows our customers personally and ensures that their concerns about a project are satisfactorily addressed.

What makes ECS unique is that we excel in complex projects. Through our different contracts, ECS has obtained deep and wide experience with multiple vendors, a variety of furniture, project management, installation, and every other minute details that makes a project successful. ECS brings together manufacturer partners who otherwise compete instead of collaborate. We also bring vetted, experienced installation teams to bring your space to life. We see our projects through to completion, all while maintaining installer relationships and ensuring the best quality products reached our customer with little to no damage.
