Katie provides leadership, management, and oversight at ECS. She focuses on ensuring that our customers receive what they ordered, and the support needed in the process. Katie earned a BS in History and International Studies with a Russian minor from Northwestern University and a MA in Public Policy from George Mason University’s School of Policy, Government, and International Affairs. Katie worked as a government negotiator for close to a decade for nonproliferation issues and educated her three children at home while moving as a military spouse. She now brings her education and experience to assist the customers of ECS to meet their goals and needs.
It is with sadness that we announce that Wendy Mills succumbed to a stroke on May 6th, 2022. Wendy was a valued member of the ECS-ed team, a friend, a co-laborer, and a sister in Christ. Wendy was the third person hired to work at ECS after it was founded in 2012. She worked in science sales throughout her long tenure and did an amazing job. Wendy worked with excellence, prayed with faith, and loved deeply. Her loss has left a deep chasm at the company. Yet, the sting of her loss is lessened by the hope that we shared in salvation through Jesus that has her in Heaven now.
Dawn Okada provides procurement expertise and support at ECS by cultivating productive relationships with vendors to provide the best possible value for our customers. Dawn is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Management Science. She previously worked as computer programmer/analyst for the Department of Energy and the Food and Drug Administration before choosing to homeschool her six children. Through her work at ECS, Dawn is able to use her previous education and experience to provide needed support to customers so they can achieve their mission objectives.
Kelly brings creative problem-solving skills and over 25 years of experience in communications and education to the ECS-ed team. Kelly has taught at the preschool through college levels and provided grant writing and consulting services for education entities. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado with a BS in Mass Communications. Since earning her MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Kelly has provided business consulting and customer service to clients in a variety of fields. She now puts her experience to work for ECS-ed.
Stacy Pratt serves as the Accounts Manager at ECS-ed. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications. Stacy received her Master’s in Journalism from Regent University. She has worked in the communications and public relations field of both the government and non-profit sector. As the mother of 10, Stacy brings her organizational and communication skills to best serve the customers of ECS-ed.
Lisa brings expertise in budgeting and financial management to the ECS-ed team gleaned from over 15 years in contracting and finance. Utilizing excellent analytical skills, she maintains our complex government and civilian accounts. With a solid background in education, corporate operations, health and media, Lisa is a perfect fit to the breadth of ECS-ed product industries. She provides our clients, product partners and government agencies with expedient responses while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
For the past thirty-plus years Kelly has run her own business providing professional organization consulting to businesses and individuals. She brings that organization, administration, and communication expertise to the ECS-ed team. Her attention to detail and exemplary customer care fit right in with the core standards of ECS-ed operations. Kelly is a specialist in overseeing complex projects and problem-solving with experience in political, education, community service, medical and ministry fields.
With over three decades of experience in customer care and effective operations, Sharon contributes to the ECS-ed team with excellent attention to detail and administrative efficiency. Her work in commercial and ministry settings has given her a broad range of skills. She has extensive background in event coordination, facility operations, education, data processing and finance. Sharon works in customer support for ECS-ed with DoDEA and international clients who benefit from her professionalism and meticulous service.
As a contract sales assistant with ECS-ed, Courtney enjoys connecting people and finding solutions to complex problems. Courtney’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from Washington State University. Following graduation, Courtney worked in finance and fitness prior to joining the ECS-ed team. From these positions, she has meaningful experience in customer service and account management. She is attentive in project facilitation and consistently utilizes her diverse skillset with excellence and integrity.
